The Electromyography is a diagnostic tool for the peripheral nerves and muscles.
The functioning of our nervous system is electrical, and the nerves, such as the electrical wire, transmit electric currents (neural signals or electrical current from the Electromyography machine), and the physician may discover their illnesses due to the waves obtained from the electrical stimulation of the nerves. Also, electrical signals in the muscles are recorded by the Electromyography machine and help us better diagnose the disease.
